Day 1 Arrival in Kunming "the Spring City". Your sightseeing begins at the Bamboo Temple. The evening ends with an overnight stay in Kunming.
Day 2 A long but interesting drive to Liuku which is the capital of the Nujiang Lisu and Pumi Nationalities Autonomous Prefecture. Overnight in Liuku.
Day 3 After the breakfast you will drive to Pianma. On the way you can visit the Yaojiaping virgin forest and the Green Canyon. After lunch in Pianma, you will visit the Pianma Museum and the Four Part Singing show of Lishu nationality. Overnight in Liuku.
Day 4 Drive from Liuku to Gongshan. On the way you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Grand Canyon. Overnight in Gongshan.
Day 5 One full day excursion to Bingzhongluo. Sightseeing includes the first bend of Nujiang River (Salween River), The stone house of the Nu Nationality, Peach Island, the Tibetan Puhua Temple. You will then have the chance to visit a minority household and experience the life of the local people. Overnight in Gongshan.
Day 6 Leave Gongshan and drive 110 km through the fascinating mountain areas to Fugong. Sightseeing includes a visit to a suspension bridge and a glide cable. Special Lishu food will be served during dinner. In the evening you will take part in a party with the local people. Overnight in Fugong.
Day 7 Return to Liuku. Enjoy your last day at Nujiang Grand canyon and visit Laomudeng Village and the bathhouse of Lishu Nationality. It is a tradition to welcom new year that all people take a bath together in the open hot springs by the banks of the river. Overnight in Liuku.
Day 8 Return to Kunming, and transfer to the hotel.
Day 9 Stroll through the Bird and Flower Market in the old part of the city. After which you will then be transferred to the airport for your departure. |
