Day1: Kunming You will be met at the Kunming airport. At 1,890m (5,670 ft)above sea level, Kunming is known as the city of "Eternal Spring" as it enjoys cool, spring-like temperatures at even the height of summer. Despite being the capital and business center of Yunnan province, Kunming has a laid-back atmosphere and is a good place to explore on foot. Nearby your hotel is Green Lake, a charming area surrounded by little teahouses and cafes, and small boutiques. You????ll sample local Yunnan specialties for dinner, and there will be a short presentation by the Nature Conservancy giving background information on the area you are about to explore.
Day2: The Tiger Leaping Gorge Town Coach to The Tiger Leaping Gorge Town (1900m above sea level) from Kunming at 8:00,and about 18:00 arrival. Stay in this town Day3: Ha????baluo Go hiking to ha????baluo or tungsten (wolfram) yard (15km far away and 3400m above sea level), during the hiking, we????ll pass the dongpo village. Stay in the farmer????s house or encamping
Day4: Haba Lake Go hiking and crossing Haba pass (4300m above sea level) to Haba lake (12km far away and 4150m above sea level); stay in the farmer????s house or encamping
Day5: Haba Lake We????ll arrange you to climb the Haba snow mountain (we can get the snow line (5000m above sea level, up 4.5km and down 4.5km), and then return to Haba lake. Encamping
Day6: Haba Lake Whole day, we????ll have a whole day sightseeing: the beautiful Haba lake, black lake, yellow lake (highland lake), azaleas forest, in autumn, you can see some kinds of highland plants etc. encamping
Day7: Jianshan Go hiking to the level ground of jianshan (highland pasture), it is about 10km.encamping.
Day8: Haba Village Go hiking to Haba village (visit the Yi people????s village, 2600m above sea level), it is about 15km.stay in Haba inn.
Day9: Walnut Garden Go hiking, enjoy the mianshaba scenery and the main peak of Haba snow mountain to daju of lijiang (the exit of the lower tiger leaping gorge), arrive at walnut garden (the lower tiger leaping gorge), it is about 25km,stay in walnut garden inn.
Day10: The Tiger Leaping Gorge Town Go hiking to the tiger-leaping gorge, enjoy the middle and upper tiger-leaping gorge (23km), stay in the tiger leaping gorge town. Day11 The Tiger Leaping Gorge -Kunming,Coach to Kunming. Trip ends.
