| Day 1 Arrive Gyalthang. Rest & relax. Gyalthang (Shangri-la) |

| Day 2 In the morning, visit the SongZan Monastery. Afternoon travel to Trinyi village for preparation of trek. Explore the village on foot and view the might Mt Shika. |

| Day 3 Start your hike 4/5hrs to Tsowaka, the nomadic settlement in the high plains of Gyalthang, Accompanied by local guide, a helper and horses to carry your supply. Overnight you will camp either outside, surrounded by yaks and high mountains, or with the nomads in their huts. |

| Day 4 Today, we will reach the first peak of our trip, Mt. Yikha, about 4000 m high, and covered with meadows of gentians, edelweiss and azaleas. This trek will last for about 5 hours and is going to be the warm-up for tomorrow?? s demanding approach on Mt. Shika. |

| Day 5 In the early morning we will head towards Mount Shika (4447 m). After 6-7 hours trekking, about 200 m in altitude below the summit, we will erect camp and rest. Under the star-covered Tibetan sky, we camp outside in our tents and listen to the sound of nature before falling asleep. |

| Day 6 Early morning, we will conquer the peak of the mountain and enjoy the stunning view over the Gyalthang plateau as the sun rises. Return trek to camp and after a short break, continue trek to the sacred Lake of Nyata Tso, trekking through old-growth forests and rhododendron woods. |

| Day 7 After packing, we??ll be trekking to the village of Hamugo, through the gorges on the foot of the mountain. From there, we will take the vehicle back to Trinyi Village. Unpack and drive to Shangri-la. |

| Day 8 &After breakfast take flight for leaving. |
