Harbin Purple Lilac Concert Hall
Purple Lilac Concert Hall is located at the junction of Central Street and east and of Hong Zhuan Street.
The concert hall was firstly built in 1926 in a European style, its former name is Guang Lu Cinema. It was renamed for 10 times within 70 years. In June, 1997 the concert hall was rebuilt again, renamed as Purple Lilac Concert Hall From Harbin Concert Hall. On 15 June, 1997, the first performance after reconstruction took place and attracted national focus on it.
In January 1999, the Purple Lilac Dancing Group was set up, which has added modern content to the tourist culture of the city. The dancing group with a Broadway Style which has injected overseas taste to the city nicknamed as Paris of East. The world popular jazz, Spanish dancing surprised and moved the audiences.
