The Passenger Transportation Port of Ningbo has now shipping lines to Shanghai, Shengsi, Putuo Mountain, Daishan Mountain, Zhapu and Zhujia Jian etc.
Taxis
At present, Ningbo has 3,125 taxies belonging to 77 units including 761 Santana, 2,285 Xiali and 55 Fukang, among which 2,712 are permitted to run in the urban area of Ningbo. The original price of Santana is 10 yuan RMB for 5km, and that of Xiali and Fukang are all 8 yuan RMB for 4km. Tourists can call taxis in the urban area at any time of the day.
Public Traffic
Ningbo now has 60 public traffic lines including 40 lines in the urban area, 20 lines in the suburban area covering a distance of 777.17 km along which 1,964 stops are set. Totally there are 716 buses running in the city carrying 43,000 people each day.
Bus Stops of Ningbo
There is a tourist bus-line in the urban area of Ningbo on which 6 buses run each day stopping at the scenic spots of the city such as South Station, Tianyi Pavilion, Fan's House, Dongmen Kou, Tianfeng Pegoda and the Town God's Temple Trading Tower etc. At the south station of the minibus in Ningbo, every 5 minutes a minibus travels to the State Scenic Spot of Xikou; at the Qiche Dong Road, a minibus runs to Ayu King Temple and Tiantong Temple every 10 minutes; at the Southeast Station Square; a two-storied bus runs toward the Dongqian Lake Scenic Site every 30 minutes; at the East Station, a minibus runs toward the Dongqian Lake Scenic Site every 10 minutes; at the South Station or the Wharf, a bus or a minibus runs toward Zhaobao Mountain (Zhenghaikou Coastal Defense Relic). Bus lines from the urban area of Ningbo to the Liangzhu Cultural Park and Baoguo Temple have also been opened. The Hemudu Relic is one stop on the line from Ningbo to Yuyao.
