Longgang Garden
Longgang Garden is the only one in China featuring Dragon Culture. It is in the center of Longgang New District, Shenzhen, and 28km to downtown area of Shenzhen with a total area of 430,000 square meters. Dragon sculptures in stone in the fountain and carefully decorated archways are the first scenes one will see at the gate of the garden. Nine-dragon Wall is splendid. Stone tablets and Gods Pillars in Jianyuan Garden are impressive. 5-dragon Pavilion and crystal archways are marvelous. Yinglong Bridge is surrounded with rainbows. Dragon King Palace is magnificent. Guanyin Hall and Arhat Pagoda are enchanting. Dragon Culture Square is under construction and is to be centered on a 500-meter-long dragon. The buildings, sculptures, gardens all depict the influence of Dragon Culture of thousands of years, and reflect the sacred, mysterious and splendid Dragon Culture.
New Dwellings of Hehu
New Dwellings of Hehu is the folk museum of the Hakkas in Longgang. It is the largest residential building of the Hakkas in China. Covering a total area of 27,890 square meters, it is situated in Luoruihe Village, center of Longgang Town. It has a history of over 200 years. There are 179 units, and a unit is made up of 1 to 3 rooms. The residential building boasts hundreds of rooms, which can accommodate more than one thousand people. Solid square walls surround it. It has three magnificent big gates in the front and one small one on each side. Houses inside are in a shape of the Chinese character "回", and the residential buildings are made up of both outer and inner circlets. The layout of outer buildings is in trapezoid shape. Inner buildings also have walls surrounded with the layout in square. All buildings are well arranged. It is like a labyrinth and provides people with guaranteed safety. It is the typical Hakkas' residential construction.
