The craftsmanship is so superb that is excels the force of the Nature. Jimei Monument of Liberation erecting in the middle of the garden is made of granite. The base consists of two flights. The lower flight has eight steps while the upper flight has three steps, implying the eight-year Resistance War against Japan and the three-year Liberation War respectively. The Mausoleum of Mr Chen Jiageng to the south of the Monument is now one of the major historic sites under the protection of the State. The tombstone is built with water-polished granite with 15 relieves depicting the important experience during Mr Chen Jiageng's first decades of years of life carved on it. Both the memorial pavilion in front of the tomb and the screen wall at the back are built with blue stones to create an atmosphere of solemn silence.
