Day 1/2 Arrive in Beijing, meet the guide and have welcome dinner. Next day visit Forbidden City, Ming Tomb. 2 N in Beijing.
Day 3/4 Morning drive to Jinshanling Great Wall which is one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall with many original features. It is a remote and relatively isolated section of the Great Wall. Afternoon drive to Chengde, visit Chengde Mountain Resort, which is located in the north of Chengde city, a place where emperors from the Qing dynasty spent their summers to escape the heat in Beijing, even bigger than the Summer Palace in Beijing. Next morning visit Punning Temple, also called Big Buddha Temple, which has the world's largest wooden Buddha. After lunch visit Putuozongcheng Temple (Little Potala Palace) is reminiscent of the Dalai Lama’s Potala Palace in Tibet. 2 N in Chengde.
Day 5/6 Morning drive back to Beijing and catch the train to Datong. Next whole day sightseeing to Yungang Grottoes, which are ancient Buddhist grottoes near the city of Datong. It is one of the three most famous ancient sculptural sites of China. In the afternoon visit Huayan Temple. Next visit Nine Dragon Screen built over 600 years ago. 2 N in Datong.
Day 7/8/9 Morning drive to Pingyao. On the way visit the Hanging Temple, built precariously on sheer cliffs above Jinlong Canyon, the monastery dates back more than 1400 years. And visit the Wooden Pagoda in YingXian County which is the earliest and the highest pagoda among the extant wooden-structure pagodas in China. The 3 days' tour in Pingyao will incl Ancient City Wall, Mingqing Street, Rishengchang Exchange Shop, Ancient City Government Office and Qingxu Taoist Temple. On day 9 drive to Lingshi, visit Shuanglin Temple, it is more than 1500 years old, famous as “a treasure reserve of the oriental painted sculptures”. Wang Family Courtyard and Zishou Temple. Drive back to Pingyao in the late afternoon. 3 N in Pingyao.
Day 10 Morning drive to Taiyuan. On the way visit Chang’s Family Courtyard and Jinci Temple which is world-famous because it is an ancient ancestral temple, something rare in China. After dinner, take the night train to Luoyang. O/N on train.
Day 11/12 Arrival in Luoyang visit the world's art treasure, Longmen Grottoes which is one of the four Grottoes of China and World Cultural Heritages. There are over 100,000 statues, 2,800 steles and 40 dagobas and 2,300 holes. The next morning visit White Horse Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China and is renowned as the cradle of Chinese Buddhism. Drive to Dengfeng at noon, visit the world famous Shaolin Temple including Pagoda Forest, where you can also enjoy a marvelous Kungfu performance. Then drive back to Luoyang, visit Luoyang Museum. 2 N in Luoyang.
Day 13/14/15 Morning take high-speed train to Xi’an. Arrival at Xi’an take a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Then we will visit the Provincial History Museum which has the richest collection of artifacts in China. Following day you will set out for another highlight of your tour, the Terracotta Warriors Museum. After lunch, visit the Huaqing Hot Spring which is famed for both its dainty spring scenery and the romantic love story of Emperor Xuanzong (685-762) and his concubine Yang Guifei in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Day 15 visit the ancient Xi’an City Wall (14th century). Then visit Muslim Street for all the local shops & markets, the Great Mosque & the Forest of Stone Tablets Museum. 3 N in Xi’an.
Day 16 Morning flight to Chengdu and will visit Qingyang Taoist Temple (“Green Goat Temple”) the largest and oldest Taoist temple in the city, and also the largest Taoist area in Southwest China. Next to visit People’s Park. And taste tea in the teahouse. Being in the list of Chengdu Historical and Cultural Protection Project, Broad and Narrow Alley is composed of broad alley, narrow alley and across alleys, among which, there are a lot of traditional courtyads. 1 N in Chengdu.
Day 17 Morning drive to Bifengxia Panda Reserve Base - Due to the violent earthquake in Sichuan, the Wolong Panda Reserve Base was destroyed. Both the Pandas and feeding stuff are immigrated to the Bifengxia Panda Reserve Base. The Bifengxia in Ya'an is thelargest Panda reserve base in the world, with the most advanced equipments. There are over 20 research laboratories and feeding centers including Panda Breeding Spots, Panda Kindergarten, Panda Hospital and the Research Centers. 1 N in Ya’an.
Day 18/19 Morning drive to visit Shangli Old Town, it is an important dak of the ancient Tea-Horse Route in history.Then drive back to Chengdu and visit Pingle Old Town on the way. Next morning drive to visit Dujiangyan Irrigations System which is a historical Chinese irrigation system constructed around 250 BC by governor of Shu State, Li Bing and his son, it still supplies with water today. 2 N in Chengdu.
Day 20/21/22 In the morning fly to Jiuzhaigou. When arrival, visit scenic area of Huanglong. Huanglong Scenic and Historical Interest Area - Situated in the Songpan County in the northwest of Sichuan, Huanglong is world-famous for its colorful lakes formed by calcification, snow-capped peaks, glaciers, mountain landscape, diverse forest ecosystems, waterfall and hot springs. It was listed as a world natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO in 1992. Later drive to Jiuzhaigou. We will spend the two full days in the Jiuzhaigou National Park to explore and enjoy the paradise and natural wonder of the world -- the water, the reflection on the bank, the stone mill, the Tibetan villages, the Buddhist streamers and the songs and dances of the Tibetan and Qiang people who constitute the unique tourist culture of Jiuzhaigou. 3 N in Jiuzhaigou .
Day 23 Departure for Ruorgai, on the way stop at Songpan and visit Songpan Ancient Town, it functioned as a military base from the time of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). En route to the Ruorgai, enjoy the great sightseeing of the grand grassland. 1 N in Ruorgai.
Day 24 Drive to Langmusi, also the sightseeing of grand grassland en route. At noon arrive in Langmusi then visit the famous Langmu Si Monastery. 1 N in Langmusi.
Day 25/26 In the morning drive to Xiahe, en route enjoy Tibetan villages and sightseeing of highland. When arrive in Xiahe, visit the Labrang Monastery, one of six grandest monastery of Gelug, the main sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Next day excursion to the Grassland of Ganjia and the ruins of Bajiao City, sightseeing and strolling around. In the late afternoon drive back to Xiahe. 2 N in Xiahe.
Day 27 After breakfast departure for Lanzhou, on the way visit the Nanguan Mosque in Linxia City. The Nanguan Mosque is one of the most famous mosques in China, as well as one of the holy lands of Islam in Northwest China. In the afternoon take flight for Guilin. 1 N in Guilin.
Day 28/29/30 After breakfast, take a short drive to join a cruise that will take you on a voyage of discovery along the Li River. Finally arrive at Yangshuo and check in hotel in town. Free at leisure to explore the old town after check-in. Next morning, visit the Silver Cave which is a multi-storied karst cave. There many outstanding scenic spots: the Waterfalls on Snow Hill, the Heavenly Screen of Music, the Deep Moon Palace, Three Treasures of the Buddha, the Pearl-decorated Umbrella and the Solitary Pillar Propping up the Sky. And rafting on the Yulong River in the afternoon. In the day 30 morning, biking via country road through the countryside with rice paddies to visit the Moon Hill, free in the afternoon. 3 N in Yangshuo.
Day 31 Morning drive to Longji Area. Longsheng is located in the mountainous region on the northeastern part of Guilin. The natural beauty and the colorful ethnic Chinese cultures and customs attract people from all over the world. Upon arr Heping Township of Longsheng County, visit Zhuang and Yao Minority tribes villages and some families if you like. Clients will enjoy the beautiful terrace rice fields after reaching the summit of Longji (Dragon's backbone).The terrace rice fields were first built in the Yuan Dynasty ( about 800 years ago) and completed in the Qing dynasty as the crystallization of the wisdom and labor of the Zhuang people. 2 N in Ping’an.
Day 32 The 6hr walk through the rice terraces from a village back to Ping'an will be arranged today.
Day 33 In the morning free for your own enjoyment in the natural scenery of Ping’an. At noon drive back from Ping’an to Guilin take flight to Hangzhou. 1 N in Hangzhou.
Day 34 In the morning visit Lingyin Temple. The temple is without doubt a premier showpiece in the West Lake environs and is notable also as one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China. Next go to visit Meijiawu Tea Village, nestled in the hinterland of West Lake District, and it is renowned as one of the most important tea production bases. Then let's go to have a cruise tour on the West Lake. After that, drive to Wuzhen. 2 N in Wuzhen.
Day 35 Whole day Wuzhen visiting. Wuzhen displays its two-thousand-year history in its ancient stone bridges floating on mild water, its stone pathways between the mottled walls and its delicate wood carvings. Also, setting it apart from other towns, it gives a unique experience through its profound cultural background.
Day 36/37 Morning is free, afternoon drive to Suzhou. Next morning visit Garden of Net Master, it represents the masterpiece of small and medium size classical gardens in southern China and it was placed on the list of UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage in 1997. Then visit Lingering Garden, one of the four famous gardens in China. China is known for its silk and Suzhou is most famous place for silk producing. This tour takes you to the No.1 Silk Factory in Suzhou founded in 1926 . With this tour, you can get the knowledge of the whole life of a silkworm. 2 N in Suzhou.
Day 38/39/40 Morning visit Panmen Gate, a famous historical landmark in Suzhou. Then take a Canal Cruise. In the afternoon drive to Shanghai, located at the mouth of the mighty Yangtze, is the shiniest gem in modern China's jewel box. Known throughout the world as the "Paris of the Orient", the international city is a thriving metropolis delightfully mixing the West and East, old and new, ancient and modern. With a long history of more than four hundred years, Yuyuan Garden, also known as the Yu Garden, is the most celebrated classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. Nestled peacefully in the west of modern Shanghai, the Jade Buddha Temple is an active Chan (Zen) Buddhist monastery. Next to Nanjing Road, the earliest and most prosperous shopping street in Shanghai dating back to the 1840s. At last, go to the Bund which is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai and an epitome of Shanghai history; famous for various styles of magnificent buildings and a marvelous view for the landmarks of the city. Day 40 visit Shanghai Museum. Then take a visit to Jin Mao Building, symbolizing Shanghai emerging into the 21st century. It is the tallest building in the country and third tallest in the world; it hosts the tallest hotel ever built. 3 N in Shanghai.
Day 41 Free till transfer to airport for departure. End of service.
