Day 1/2 Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Visit Yuyuan Garden, laid out in the 16th century. Leaving the ancient for the modern you visit the Pudong New Area,here you'll find the biggest of everything: the tallest TV tower in Asia, the largest department store on the continent, and the tallest building in the world. Welcome dinner. 2 N in Shanghai.
Day 3/4 Take the flight to Urumqi and transfer to the hotel, visit Xinjiang Museum, afternoon free. 2 N in Urumqi.
Day 5/6/7 After breakfast take flight to Kashgar. The next morning visit the Sunday Market – walking in all areas of the market place – the boot, hat, textile and spice markets as well as the livestock market. Visit the Mausoleum of Abjak Hoja and walk through the old town quarter ending up at the Id Kah Mosque (the largest in China) and the surrounding market area. 3 N in Kashgar.
Day 8 Morning drive to Aksu cross the famous old town Artosh, visit Sultan Boghrakhan mosque-tomb. 1 N in Aksu.
Day 9 Drive to Kucha on the way visit the site of the Kezil Caves. The Kezil is among the earliest Buddhist cave sites in China. Late afternoon continue to Kucha. 1 N in Kucha.
Day 10 Visit Kyzilkargha Buddha cave,4th-6th century, visit Grand Kucha Mosque with central Asian architectural style. Take train to Turpan. O/N on train.
Day 11 Arrive in Turpan and visit Grape valley (Turpan is also known in China as grape town). 1 N in Turpan.
Day 12 Morning visit Kariz under ground irrigation system, one of the three manmade ancient projects of China. Visit Bezeklic caves (4th century) and Astan tombs. In Gaochang ancient city, you will be taken by donkey cart to visit the temple area. Take the train to Dunhuang. O/N on train.
Day 13/14/15 Arrive in Dunhuang and visit the Yangguan. To the west of Dunhuang, the valley gradually broadens and one quickly enters the largely barren waste of the gravel desert. Day 14 visit Singing Dunes which are one of the most puzzling and impressive natural phenomena.The sounds produced can be heard up to 10 kilometers away and resemble a drum or a low-flying jet. Day 15 visit the Chinese grotto treasure Mogao Grottoes. 3 N in Dunhuang.
Day 16/17 Afternoon take the flight to Xi’an, visit the ancient Xi'an City Wall (14th century).Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum. Farewell dinner. 2 N in Xi’an.
Day 18 Take the flight to Shanghai for leaving,end of service.
