Guilin Botanical Park is located in the west of Yan Hill town and opposite to Yan Hill Park. This Botanical Park was set up in 1958, covering 67 hectares, and it is one of the earliest ten Chinese botanical parks. There are more than 2,100 species of subtropical plants as its main body. These plants are mainly for economy and appreciation. Now, in the park are gymnosperm zone, palm zone, medicine plant zone, flowers and potted landscape, rare and endangered plants zone and lily zone, plus ginkgo, tea and black cypress garden and so on. With these, the city of Guilin has been the ideal place for holiday and tourism.
