Fan Cliff
The Fan Cliff is located to the west of the West Stream of Taishan Mountain, and the shape of the towering peak looks like a giant fan, hence its name. Here the peak is strange and the valley is quiet, and the cliff seems being cut and difficult to climb. There are inscriptions on the stone of the cliff written by some one in Qing Dynasty, which said that "the peak looks like a sword to stab the sky; the valleys are quiet and the cliffs are precipitous".
Longtan Waterfalls
The waterfalls flow straight down from the high cliff of the West Stream of Taishan Mountain, with the sound like thunders and the shape like a silver chain. The falls pour down throughout the year, and lash against the ground under the cliff to form a pond. It is said that the pond connects with the Dragon Palace of the Eastern Sea, and the dragons come and go freely, thus it is named "Black Dragon Pool". There was a poem written by some poet in Qing Dynasty that "the water resource is endless, and the water flows down from the highest peak. The water pours into the deep pond, where the dragon may be hiding". "Waterfalls of Longtan" is one of the famous spectacles of the West Stream of Taishan Mountain, where tourists can appreciate beautiful scenes and sing their praises here.
