The Xiangji Temple is situated in the Xiangji Village, Guodu Village, Chang'an County, about 17.5 kilometers south of the City of Xi'an. The temple was built in 706. It's for feting the death of Shandao by Huaiyun, the legacy student of rabbi Shansi who is the 2nd ancestor of the Jingtu Sect. It was regarded as the cradle of the Jingtu Sect for being the center of the activities of the sect after its construction. The Shandao Tower presently reserved in the temple, was built in 680 during the Tang Dynasty. The top of the tower was damaged from time to time, and there are only 11 floors left (originally 13 floors). It's almost 33 meters high, and around the temple regular scripts of "Jingangjing" were carved.
