Regarded as "the first lucky place in the world", the Louguan Platform is the famous scenic spot of Taoism. It's situated at the foot of Mount Zhongnan 15 kilometers southeast of the Zhouzhi County, 70 kilometers away from Xi'an. Laozi, the hierarch of Taoism, wrote the monumental "On Moral" on the Louguan Platform, altogether more than 5000 words. Usually said as "Dongtianfudi" (i.e. a lucky place), the platform is standing close to the Qin Mountains on the south, and facing the Wei River on the north, and exuberant bamboo forest and shading ancient forest are surrounding it. The famous historical sites left mainly include the platform for explaining the sutra, the Lugong Hole, the Huanu Fountain, the Louguan Tower, the Tomb of Laozi, the Zongsheng Palace, the Huiling Temple, the Yuhua Temple, the Yansheng Temple and etc.
