The Lei Feng Memorial Hall, covering an area of 1524 square meters, is a courtyard type structure with distinctive Chinese national characteristics. The hall consists of four exhibition rooms in which Lei Feng's life story and merits are on display, including his portfolio, a cotton quilt and a mosquito net used by three generations of his family and other articles for daily use totaling more than 140 pieces. There are also 130 or more photos and books, three sets of clay models and three sets of sculptures. The construction of the hall was completed in 1968 and it was opened to the public in the same year.
