Jinjihu Lake, located 4km southeast away from Suzhou, has an area of 750 hectares, in which all kind of fresh water fishes and pearl oysters are raised. It is the earliest artificial pearl-raising base. 20 minutes ride of sailing boat or motorboat can take you to the bamboo building group on the lake. Those who love angling can try their luck at the bamboo buildings. Self-selecting and self-making of pearl ornaments is an unconventional shopping. You can select your most satisfactory pearl from a full plate of pearls and them punch holes and link them together on site, or you can punch the newly-collected pearls and link them into ornaments.
